Biography:

Tennille knows the needs of our community. She has worked in healthcare since 2001 in various nursing roles as she attained higher levels of education and experience. She took her first Nurse Practitioner role in 2015 caring for a large population of patients of various ages and disease processes. After several years working in organizations that are geared more toward population wellness and system-based processes rather than individual patient focus, she decided to open her own private practice to care for patients in a different setting where the primary focus is on the patient provider relationship applying evidence based medical care to the patient and their specific needs/ views/ and ultimately their choices for the good of the patient's health and wellness, while ensuring longevity of the provider. The idea is to ensure long-term family practice medical providers are here to care for this rural area that has historically experienced high turnover in medical providers. She knows patients get tired of changing providers every few years. Having a provider ran clinic we feel we can reduce provider burn out and give confidence to the patient that we have “skin in the game” and are not going anywhere.
